Short blah-blah
---------------
This has been made with a very very rudimentary equipment.
Developed blah-blah-blah
------------------------
I could literally translate "Mille morceaux" by "Thousand pieces". I don't know if it's the same thing into English but in France, there's a particular meaning because of the words "En millemorceaux" (in thousand pieces) witch are used, most of the time, associated with "briser, casser" ("to break") to say that something is (or has been, or ...) broken, smashed ... in a thousand pieces (bits). Also, we sometimes link "coeur" (heart) and "brisé" (broken). So, by extension, the heart can be broken in thousand pieces, ... and if a heart can be broken like that, a human being too.
...
These works have been played and then recorded on magnetic cassettes, years ago, with a very very rudimentary equipment. Of course, the quality of equipment is important (or very important), but when you have no choice and you cannot get a serious equipment, you just have to do with what you have. That's what i've done. If i would have wait for a better equipment to do something, sure i would be still waiting today. ...
So, i've tried to do the best music i can with what i had (and have). Fortunately, the deep soul of music doesn't really depend on the equipment. (So many musical works are made with excellent equipments and are completely lacking in expression and in all, are just shitty works!!!)
With music, i try to do my best to express what i deeply feel into this life, what the words cannot express.
...
Last point but not least, i accepted to do this release at this net label because of the very good contact with Alex Lisovsky of Clinical Archives, in spite of the language difficulties :-))
I hope you will enjoy "Mille morceaux" and feel affinities for :o)))
Marc (C.D.) Bourdin, aka "L'ermite".

Of course, a much more developed blah blah blah exists ... but not here :~} !!!
