“Pequenos cuentos” is a compilation of daily situations in a form of music & images that guide us into different roads and landscapes, where the relevacy is the world they create between them, and not why they are together? The cotidianity, the static, the loop, thoughts about the movement. Most of the pieces of the album I started some time ago but I left them incomplete, some of the pieces were retaken and drastically modified on their structure and composition, some others were less changed, but generally all of them kept their essence even though it has been aged by time. In this album I unconsciously work with less instrumentation, mainly because I try to leave the essence of the moment when I begin the song. …música y sus estancias …
Orvonton is the self-project of Carlos E. Pechant (Monterrey, Mexico). In this project I try to capture daily situations and translate to music/daily situations in which we don't need the perfect melody to an specific moment, we only need to switch the situation to a musical plan, and transform our cotidianity trying to view the same situations in different angles.

"I lift my hands against the gods" is a panoramic, episodic, aural and textual examination of the first five hundred years of modern history beginning with Christ in the garden of Gethsemane and concluding with the Roman empire succumbing to the barbarian hordes. In between these two cataclysmic events (the former being one of the most poetic and moving in our recorded history, the latter displaying the generally unpoetic gradual decline and descent into the dullest sort of decadence that always heralds the death of a civilization) there are first person studies of Marcus Aurelius and Julian the Apostate, pagan sensuality blooming with violence, brutalized martyrs, alternate sects of Christianity, heretics, esoteric and symbolic thought, execution, the ecstasy and joy of pain and the transcendence of flesh, spectre saints pierced with arrows, thougtless and repulsive murders, sacrifice, belief, crowded market places, foreign tongues, myth, nauseating smells, blood and bile; in other words, life itself.

Anton Mobin : Micros + Larsenophone
Thomas Thiery (TH-TH): Laptop + modular patch
Th-Th (Matohawk) and Anton Mobin, laud both a radical practice of the improvisation. They create an entity which grows rich of the contrast of the numeric treatments and synthesis of Th-Th and Anton Mobin's analogical manipulations. These two approaches converge on a hypnotic and totally intuitive intensity.
A Hypnotic Versus Time is a new improvised session by the two artists, and took place in the Maizing studio in Paris on May 20th, 2009 and diffused simultaneously on the webradio KKWNE.
* TH-TH (Marseille-France) :
Thomas Thiery, as an artist, concerns himself particularly with the sound medium. After his physics degree, he continued with his studies about sound and image in the ´ UniversitÈ de Provence ª. At the same time, he got in touch with graphic programming in general, and more particularly with the software Pure Data. Equipped with sensors, he collaborated as a sound programmer for audiovisual installations and dance performances. With Thierry Coduys, he completed his training at the Kitchen in Paris and worked on graphic scores with the help of Pure data and IanniX. Since then, he has focused his sound research on new forms of musical writing.
To continue his work, he particularly relies on free and open source software which give him more open advantages. In 2006, still willing to explore other sound approaches, he directed himself towards improvisation techniques and created the duo Aide Auditive with Mysth-R. Since 2007, he studies Electroacoustic composition in Marseille. In 2008, he created some open project like Blank Pages and Larseneurs.

* ANTON MOBIN (Paris-France) :
Self-taught musician, he turns very fast to an experimental practice with an approach done wonders for the self-confidence on improvised music for an intuitive music. He used to play with the collective H.A.K. and more with affinities; with Ayato in the improvised duet called ìCrash Duo". Very productive, Anton Mobin diversifies all the broadcasting modes for his music, and it is in Internet that he finds an appropriate answer to his bulimia, of the webradio, by way of netlabels, audioblog of Arte, collaborative projects on Internet, compilations... We find him on a large part of these virtual places where the improvised music is going full swing.

“The Rhythms of Life” was a book I accidentally ran into at the “Feria Del Libro” of Buenos Aires many years ago. Since the very first moment I was reading its pages thousands of songs began to sound inside me. Suspected answers and new questions appeared in my mind about how things happen in our world through the ages. The rough lines written and left in a drawer for decades fell onto the ground of nowadays technological means and finally grew up into sounds. Here are 21 tracks that made up the first volume.
All tracks composed, played & recorded by Humberto Luis Schenone
Recorded at “Living Records Studios”
Buenos Aires - Argentina
Humberto Luis Schenone was born in the British Hospital of Buenos Aires on september 6th 1955. Since his childhood had some school trouble for his pleasure of beating over anything making “candombe-batucada”. But first steps in music were in his teens singing and playing guitar in folk and rock groups. Dedicated to other kind of professional activities after university years and to study Spanish guitar with jazz & tango player Claudio Gomez. But it was many years later, in 1990, when he assumed his role as percussionist in music, after different periods travelling and living in Brazil. He settled in a house 30 kms away from Buenos Aires where he built his first “percussion-room” and started his studies of afro-american rhythms. His teachers in the art of percussion were Bam Bam Miranda, Abdoulaye Badiane, Ricky Olarte, Pocho Porteño, Hugo Nuñez among others. He has been part of several bands related with afro-percussion, bossa nova, samba, salsa, rock, south-american folk, tango, etc. Nowadays, again living in B.A. , is part of a Bossa & Samba Trio directed guitar player Cesar Blondet and participates as guest musician in other groups.

A 25 minute piece "Incubi-Succubi" was born as a live act by Svart1 (Sardinia-Italy) and Daina Dieva (Lithuania) for the opening of an exhibition of the painter Daniele Serra, and performed in an art gallery in Cagliari (Sardinia, Italy) on the 9th of December.
A common point of departure for this musical soundscape was the theme of the exposition - darkest nightmares. And so it flows wandering through post-folk, saturated in dark ambient and covered in the shelters of industrial, closing the circle with the post-folk chant again.
This peace is meant to be perceived as a soundscape for a moonlite night - closing the eyes under the sparkling path of the full moon and letting go of this world. A first phase of sleep is a handful of memories, feelings and illusions, the second phase - the heavy sleep - is a torture of nightmares, the third phase lets you rest in the dreamlands of childhood, while the fourth pushes back to suffering the darkest night hours. Finally the first rays of the sun enlighten the feverish dream and calls out to enchanted awakening.
Created on December 2008 in Sardinia
