Magical Unicellular Music is a project of the Solntsetsvety artistic group, functional in a number of cities of the Eastern Europe. Several different lineups playing this kind of music exist, and they can be distinguished from one another by respective adopted approaches to realization of the commonly accepted method and by sequence numbers (V.O.M. 4, V.O.M. 5, V.O.M.6, etc.) "Aurora" album was recorded in Moscow by the V.O.M.4 fraction.
Absolutely static solid-rock music glowing with all nuances of the spectrum like polar aurora borealis. This is full implementation of Magical Unicellular Music concept and methodology, the didactic catechism to learn one — and to jump on your sofa of coruse.

Reissue free download Special Edition

"La Differanza" was released in 2000 as the second SADO's record.
This is the 10th anniversary edition, specially remixed for free download.
An early work of SADO but still very representative of the band. Based on Jacques Derrida's "Difference" notion. Jacques Derrida begins the essay "Différance" (perhaps the most systematic articulation of the non-concept that, according to Derrida, he "has been able to utilize" in previous works) by talking about the letter a and trying to explain (though not justify; instead perform an "insistent intensification of its play") the neologism that he developed. In the first few paragraphs of the essay, he talks about writing and how the neologism ("neographism" he calls it) is "a lapse in the discipline and law" of that system, a sort of distruption in writing and, if I may add, in language and the order of signs in general.
Sado's "LA DIFFERANZA" follows this scheme, nothing more, nothing less.

With Paolo Baltaro, Sandro Marinoni, Diego Marzi, Gianni Opezzo and Boris Savoldelli.
You'll not find this record anywhere else, it is not for sale on shops or web mailorders. It's free!
Please check www.societaanonimadecostruzionismiorganici.com for further and newer releases, and more to come.

Bartois (Bart Knol) always had a deep love for the Piano, since he first heard Eric Satie and Philip Glass when he was young. After many years of composing all kinds of music, the time had come to create his first solo piano-album.

The goal of the album was creating a record which you can "trust". Something which can be played on quiet evenings or sunday mornings, knowing that it will be a comfortable ride until the last track has passed.

Jan Kees Helms is a sound and visual artist based in The Netherlands. In the eighties he made music with others like Viviane Marc from France, Peter Versteeg and Andrea Sturkenboom. He made music and recorded his experimental musical journeys and released them at Lor Teeps.
The tapelabel Lor Teeps cooperated with lot of other musicians in The Netherlands, but also worldwide. Lor Teeps released the first tape in 1983 with punkmusic of L'Oraagje. In 1987 Lor Teeps was more into the experimental tape-scene and released a lot of tapes.

But now... after many years of silence and making short movies with music of other musicians he started in 2009 to make visual sounds. Spring 2009 he starts with a collaboration with Billy Gomberg from New York and created the cd and short movie ANYpark with fieldrecordings of parksounds.

Contact t.b.d. released about 20 years ago many tapes at several tapelabels. For now Jan Kees Helms explores in this musical project the dark side of sound with guitardrones, synthesizers, piano and fieldrecordings. StrangString is recorded and composed during november 2009 - januar 2010.

Martins Rokis has created different music under several aliases. His current work is a blend of prepared generative strategies and laptop improvisation, exploring the possibilities of digital synthesis, sonic parameter control and transformation, using computer software.

Kaspars Groshevs mainly works with the visual means of expression and has often flirted with the sound art in his installations, video works and performances.

Both artists reside and work in Riga, Latvia where they have already collaborated a few times on various projects. For this release they made several improvisation sessions during which they merged their sonic interests largely using digital manipulations of both synthetic sounds and acoustic sources such as percussions, voice, toy horn and glockenspiel. It resulted in live performances on Sound Forrest festival and taking part in project "Submergence" in Moscow and Saint-Petersburg.
