Invented and defined by Smith, the term Zn'shñ signifies: the gleam of dark colours.
Deliberately antithetic and intentionally enigmatic, Zn'shñ is basically enthused by Butoh iconography, Japanese Gagaku aesthetic and Tibetan rituals codification.
"The winter book" is the complete original soundtrack from the eponymous 30mm digital film made by Elvire Bastendorff.
The soundtrack was conceived and recorded by Zn'shñ before the film.
Performed by Franck Smith & Elvire Bastendorff : electronic manipulations
Recorded December 2008 in Paris (no overdubs)
Mastered January 2009
* Version for free downloads, no commercial usings can be made from these recordings.
